„Filling a niche? We fill the whole room!“ would be the answer to the question in which genre ON THE VERGE OF SANITY would position themselves.
As a matter of fact the four members of ON THE VERGE OF SANITY (Gretel – vocals, Max – guitar, Max – bass, Johannes – drums) enthuse their fans since 2008 with their mélange of ass-kicking funk and groovy rock – everything with a relaxed jazz-proggy approach. Let´s call it „heavy fusion“!
Since then the band is traveling mostly the east of germany to play gigs and recorded an EP („Maze“), which was released in may 2010.
Plans for 2012 are of course more concerts and another recording that reflects the recent musical development, which pushes the envelope of their own style.
