about

This February with Prog Sphere we celebrated our fourth anniversary. I wasn't sure back then in 2010 that four years later I will still be spending hours and hours on this website. Now, from this time distance I can definitely say that Prog Sphere is doing the right thing. The Progstravaganza compilation series on the other side has reached its seventeenth iteration. Taking a moment to think about all the bands that paraded through it, it absolutely makes me feel great.

Submissions for the next Progstravaganza compilation are open. Get in touch and spread the word about your music.

I stopped counting bands long time ago, but I can assure you that there have been more than 300 bands in total. I think many of you will agree that a keyword here is - success.

Progstravaganza XVII is entitled Progression and it brings 20 bands of various genre orientations. That is something you already got used to when it comes to Progstravaganza. There are definitely many great names on this sampler. Generally speaking, this compilation will meet all your expectations in terms of new discoveries. I am sure some of these bands will become your new favorites.

Make sure to visit the website once per day AT LEAST, as there will be questionnaires with the artists. Or you can stay tuned by liking us at Facebook or following on Twitter.

Along with Progression, we are already taking submissions for the next Progstravaganza chapter which working title is Prog Off. So if you are in a band or create music on your own, make sure to get in touch by saying "hello" to info@prog-sphere.com and we will be more than happy to check it out. Thanks!

See you in April!
