Back in 2010, Porcupine Tree went on an indefinite hiatus. The group's mastermind Steven Wilson has pursued a very successful career since then, releasing five solo albums to date. When it comes to Porcupine Tree, according to the musician itself, the future doesn't seem too bright.

Over the course of time, Porcupine Tree has inspired tons of young bands and artists which followed in the steps of the British band, releasing music that is ethereal — one of the main characteristics of the group.

"Porcupine Tree: Legacy" celebrates the huge body of work by the group by shedding light to a few artists that were one way or another inspired by the music of Porcupine Tree.
